Website Designers for Wellness and Integrative Practices: Who Fits Which Practice

A guide to 14 website designers for naturopathic, integrative, acupuncture, nutrition, and wellness practices, grouped by fit, with prices and ownership terms from their own pages.

Checked on 14 designersBy

Credible by Design builds websites for therapy and private healthcare practices. We wrote this guide, so our entry comes first, under its own heading.

For a wellness or integrative practice, the right designer depends on who writes the words, who owns the site, and how you pay. Studios build for one project fee, monthly services bundle the site with upkeep, and agencies add search and advertising work after launch. Whatever you choose, get the ownership terms in writing before you pay.

This guide covers 14 designers and services for naturopathic, functional medicine, acupuncture, nutrition, and other wellness practices. Each one serves practices in the US or Canada. Every price and term below comes from the company's own pages, checked on October 29, 2026. For therapy practices, see our guide to website designers for therapists.

How We Chose These Designers

On October 2, 2026, we asked ChatGPT, Gemini, and Meta AI, twice each, who designs websites for naturopathic doctors and holistic practitioners. Fifteen designers were named in at least two of the six answers, and ten of them met our criteria.

That question named only naturopathic and holistic practices. So on October 20, we also searched for functional medicine, acupuncture, and dietitian website design, and added one service for each. Every entry builds websites for these practices, serves practices in the US or Canada, and has a live services page for them.

One of the six answers named us, one short of the rule above.

The other entries are grouped by fit and run in alphabetical order within each group. This guide ranks no one.

How Do You Choose a Website Designer for a Wellness Practice?

Compare any shortlist on five things: ownership, the words, leaving, the total cost, and your tools. Terms in this guide vary most on ownership and on what happens when you leave.

Who Owns the Domain, the Site, and the Accounts?

Ask for ownership terms in writing before you pay. Check the domain, the site files or platform account, the content, and the analytics separately. In this guide, terms run from every account in your name to a site that stays on the agency's hosting until the contract ends.

Who Writes the Words?

Some designers write every page, some sell copywriting as an add-on, and some build around words you supply. QiSites gives you prewritten pages to edit. Ask who writes, how they learn your voice, and whether you approve each page before it goes live.

What Happens If You Leave?

Ask what you keep if you stop paying: the domain, the content, the design, and the files. O360 says it hands over full access and moves your domain. Doctor Multimedia packages your files for download when the contract ends. QiSites lets you transfer your domain away.

What Will You Pay Over Three Years?

Add the build fee to 36 months of any monthly fee. A $100 monthly fee adds $3,600 over three years. Ask what that fee covers: hosting, edits, search work, or the platform alone. Check for renewals and minimum terms, such as Doctor Multimedia's 12-month renewal.

Does It Work With Your Booking and Dispensary Tools?

Ask whether the designer has connected the tools you use. Big Apple Media names Jane App, Practice Better, and IntakeQ. Happy Website Design names Fullscript and Wellevate, and The Website Doula names Acuity and Calendly.

Then ask to see live sites built for practices like yours. Our private practice website examples show what strong wellness sites do. For a fuller checklist, see 15 questions to ask before you hire a website designer.

Questions About Hiring a Wellness Website Designer

How Much Does a Website for a Wellness Practice Cost?

Among the prices published in this guide, one-time builds start at about $2,000, and larger custom sites run past $12,000. Do-it-yourself plans start at $29 a month. Several agencies quote only after a call, so compare totals over three years.

Should a Wellness Practice Use Squarespace or WordPress?

Both appear here. Alana Jade Studio, Knapsack Creative, and Lemon and the Sea build on Squarespace, which includes hosting in every plan. Big Apple Media, Happy Website Design, O360, The Website Doula, and 702 Pros build on WordPress, which needs regular updates. If nobody in your practice will run those updates, budget for a maintenance plan, which several of them sell.

Do You Need a Designer Who Specializes in Wellness Practices?

A specialist brings patterns these practices use: a page for each modality, practitioner bios, and links to scheduling and dispensary tools. A general designer can build the same pages when you bring that plan. Either way, ask to see live sites for practices like yours.

What This List Doesn't Tell You

We read each company's own pages on October 20, 2026, and checked them again on October 29. We did not hire any of them, test their work, or read their reviews, so this guide makes no judgment on quality. We checked 19 designers and services besides our own, and 13 met the criteria.

Prices and terms change. AI answers change from run to run, and search results vary by place and day. Plenty of capable designers sit outside these rules.

If something here is out of date, email charles@crediblebydesign.com and we will check it.
